Coffee With a Borderline

Welcome to Portland!!

Just kidding. I completely understand the need this city has to bring more vested people into my hometown, however, does anyone enjoy watching new groups of people move into their neighborhood and take over all that you once knew to be constant? No. Not many are huge fans of this concept, speaking generally.

I have Borderline Personality Disorder, which makes me view you in two shades of color... love and hate. :)

I spend most of my time talking to that little voice in the head, just my little voice shows me the worst in others. I spend most of my time trying to remain calm and give the impression that all is well; internally.

You know the scene from Batman, where the Joker, Heath Ledger, is hanging out of  car (cab) window with the iconic makeup smile across his face, eyes closed, wearing a nurse's dress. That's how I fell most days.

Life as a Borderline, for me, is best described as attempting to keep the balance of my two personalities; the pessimistic and optimistic. The war of balance supersedes all other issues, mainly why my common demeanor is that of calm, worry-free, isolated, and or guarded, to name a few. My concerns are not about being on time for work, or anything now that I think of it, rather I spend the days thinking about why my mood swings are happening. I could be thankful for being aware of my altering moods. Some can't "fake" it as well.

Dress up to play Human.

A core statement I've repeated over the last decade. I feel as though the skin and muscle I have is not mine, rather, it's a suit. I feel that I'm disconnected from the matrix, but can't leave. You might find my most recent book interesting if that statement struck a nerve; E.H.F.A.R. by Ronin PDX. The Author's Edition is available now on Amazon.com.

I hope to tackle many issues with this "Disorder", and provide it in a satirical, yet anecdotal structure.

As you might enjoy watching a "psycho" being portrayed on TV, I hope you enjoy my reality of the same without the fame or income.
